Mobile Ordering

We are proud to offer Grubhub at most of our on-campus retail dining locations to provide you with convenience and ease in mobile ordering. With your ID card linked to your account, Grubhub will accept Binghamton University Dining Services’ meal plans, as well as credit cards. After you order, you can pick up your food at the Grubhub pickup sign at the dining location you selected. Best of all, Grubhub is FREE for Binghamton University students to use for on-campus takeout.

Download the Grubhub app on your mobile device and create a new account (or sign in if you already have a Grubhub account).

Once you are signed in, add Binghamton University as your campus by visiting the “Account” menu.

Select “Campus Dining” and search for “Binghamton University” to add as an affiliation. You should now be able to view on-campus dining locations within your Grubhub account.

You will be prompted to link your campus meal plan as your payment method, do this by using your single sign-on Binghamton ID.

The Grubhub app is now available in the international app store, meaning that students no longer need to use a workaround to access the app. In addition, Grubhub is in process of developing the ability to apply international credit cards to purchases. Most countries are currently supported and others are being added on as quickly as possible.

View on-campus food options within each dining location and add items to bag for checkout. Once you’ve placed your on-campus order, the app will notify you when your food is ready. You can pick up your food at the Grubhub pickup sign at the dining location you selected.

You can use your meal plan or credit card on the Grubhub app as a form of payment. Please note: Sales tax will not be applied to orders paid with a Resident, The 25, Commuter Annual or Commuter Semester meal plans. To manage your meal plan account balances please visit https://bing.campuscardcenter.com/ch/login.html or contact the Meal Plan office at 607-777-6000.

To cancel an order, students must contact Grubhub support. To contact Grubhub support, click the "Need Help?" link on the “View Order” screen in the Grubhub app. Students can also email grubhubforcampus@grubhub.com.

No, students may not use their meal plan to purchase from off-campus restaurants via the Grubhub app. However, students CAN use credit or debit to make such purchases. Off-campus purchases via the Grubhub app are not managed by Binghamton University Dining Services. For questions or concerns regarding off-campus restaurant purchases, students must contact the restaurant or Grubhub directly.

The following are possible solutions to fix this error.

  • Make sure that the Grubhub app is updated to the latest version.
  • Try unlinking your ID card and re-linking using your Binghamton single sign on.
  • If none of the above solutions fix this error, please reach out to Grubhub support directly, grubhubforcampus@grubhub.com.

The Grubhub app will provide real-time updates about your order and inform you when your order is ready to be picked up.

It is recommended that students place their orders near the time they would like to pick it up. Students are unable to order takeout in advance for a set time (For example, 11:00am the next day). The app will be updated with accurate wait times so students will know how long it will take for their order to be prepared.
